Best Case for Buying a Modular Church Building or Portable Classroom

Here is a really helpful "Best Case" tip if you work for a church or private school and are trying to find the best price for any type of modular building or portable classroom space to rent or buy.

Best Case Scenario #1:You are interested in buying one or multiple used modular classrooms or offices and are flexible with what the floor plan layout is.This scenario puts you in the driver's seat to negotiate a great rent or purchase price with the supplier you like best. This also gives you the freedom to look at a wider variety of used modular structures that are sitting in inventories at local suppliers storage yards.

If you can make do with whatever type of interior and exterior finishes are available with a specific model and you can live with the existing office or classroom layout,  you will save a lot of money and time. Keep in mind that it may be less expensive to have a local contractor or a member of your church or school handle things like cleaning, painting and maintenance of the modular building instead of the supplier.

  1. There are several portable classrooms available from a school district in Los Angeles, California. These are 24' x 40' open classroom trailers in very good condition. Several churches and schools have inquired. eMail matt@gbmmarketing.com if interested.

  2. In the last two months we have received calls from school districts in Maryland, Virginia, Connecticut, Ohio, California, Texas and Florida that have used portable classrooms for sale. Now that summer is over you may want to contact your local school district to see if they have portable classrooms or modulars that are no longer needed. Try calling the facilities department or purchasing.
